This website aims to provide helpful resources and guidelines to support the creation of GREYC corporate communication media. Please take a moment to read these information before creating a new corporate content.

Acronym and baseline
Our research lab is called GREYC. Our acronym stands for:

Our logo may comprise an optional baseline located below the acronym:

Logos
It is important that our logos are used consistently to ensure a professional look and feel.
☞ Please do only use one of the following logos and do not create your own ad-hoc version.
☞ Please check that your document templates are using the latest version of the logo.

Versioning for printed and digital content
Two versions of the GREYC logo have been designed to accommodate different uses:
- The Rectangle Logo, which is intended to be used on printed content, such as corporate letters, brochures, fliers
- The Square Logo, which is designed to be used on digital content, such as media profile or cover image
Accounting for light and dark themes
GREYC logos are distributed as SVG files and we encourage you to integrate these logos in this scallable format.
- GREYC logos for light themes: colored logos, black & white logos, with or without baseline
- GREYC logos for dark themes: colored logos, silhouette logos, with or without baseline
Focusing on a Research Team Work
It may be relevant to focus on a specific team work.
For this purpose, we propose a set of team-specific logos. A specific color has been assigned to each research team. The detailed color palette can be found below.
The story of the Logo
The GREYC logo has been designed by Kotekom. It is a reference to the alien spaceships of the 1980's Space Invaders video game.

Virtual Background Scenes
Virtual backgrounds allows you to hide your environment during a video conference. You can use virtual backgrounds in most video conferencing systems such as Zoom or Google Meet.
GREYC Virtual backgrounds are corporate backgrounds. We provide backgrounds for two common aspect ratio: 16:9 and 4:3.
If the background appears flipped on your screen, you can either set up the preferences of the video conferencing system or use the mirrored backgrounds which are provided below.
